It's been quite the week. Last Monday was the first of five days I spent basically tethered to my bathroom. Real food didn't go over so well; on Wednesday I thought I was better but then I ate a Lean Cuisine and it was all downhill again after that. By Friday I had lost seven pounds.
By Sunday night I'd gained them all back; somewhere between the buttered popcorn at work, the jumbo popcorn at the movies, and Saturday and Sunday brunch, they just crept back on as if from nowhere. I am back to being a card-carrying member of the clean plate club--and it is fan-fucking-tastic.
With being sick last week and having my brother visit over the weekend, I didn't really have time to grocery shop, so tonight after work I went to CostCo and stocked up. Did you know they sell rotisserie chickens for $5? It's like a revelation.
I'm pretty proud of what I made for dinner--a piece of said chicken with a side of baby bellas and spinach sauteed with garlic and topped with goat cheese and walnuts. Welcome back, appetite. I missed you!
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go smack my cat away from my chicken. Brb.
