File This One Away!

Make no mistake, I'm not Wedding Album Girl, who has the whole ceremony planned and just needs a groom to drop in. However, this video definitely makes the list of "must do at some to-be-determined date in the future." I feel strongly that its awesomeness overrides any of the creepy Wedding Album Girl associations that could come with saying that. I love how they involved all their friends and family, and now I can't stop picturing my mom running through a field lip-synching and making jazz hands.

Art, Don't Read Too Far Into This

On Monday night I was in need of a dinner that met a few criteria. I wanted to eat some fancy cheeses I still had left over from the crescent roll party, and I also had to finish up some red grapes that were about to turn. Oh, and I bought a package of 18 organic brown eggs at CostCo, so I also wanted to try to work in an egg.

What did I come up with?

A brie quesadilla, a Gouda quesadilla, a fried egg and red grapes. Oh, and some Franzia. The warm cheeses paired well with the red grapes, and it was actually quite delicious to put a piece of egg and some honey on top of the quesadillas.

Don't judge; as my random meals go, this was uncharacteristically cohesive. It was tasty and fulfilled the fruit/vegetable, dairy, protein and carbohydrates blocks of the food pyramid. I'm creative, nutritionally sound and outside the box! Also, mmm, warm Gouda. Just saying.
