I Need To Start Writing Things Down.

So I ventured out in the snow on Saturday to get dish soap because I was out and even though I could have sworn I'd bought a bottle a few weeks ago in anticipation of just such a day, I couldn't find it anywhere. I decided I must have put the bottle back on the shelf at Target because I didn't need it yet and went about my business, bundling up, walking to the store, losing the bottle in a snowbank and finding it again. I got to the bottom of Dishes Mountain earlier tonight and was putting away some things in my kitchen and stumbled across the soap I bought a month ago sitting right in plain sight under the sink.

It's like that time I found myself with two copies of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 because it was $5 at Target and I thought, "What the hey?" and picked it up, only to come home and find another $5 copy still wrapped in cellophane on a shelf in my living room. Five dollar DVD amnesia!
