A Little Dose of Happy
I'm working from home today because of the awful weather (and therefore awful driving conditions for my little car) and because I woke up this morning feeling like I was getting a cold. With a big conference coming up this month and my tendency to get sick in a really major way at inconvenient times, I wanted to take it easy.
All day I've seen people shoveling and salting walks as it gets blustery and blustier (sure, it's a word...ish) outside, where the temperature is currently 9 degrees. Doesn't it just make you want to take a vacation? I Googled "ultimate tropical vacation" and found this picture of a beach in Mozambique, where it is currently 81 degrees. Don't you just want to be in that little boat, dangling you feet in the water? And don't even get me started on that amazing sand. I want to go to there! Focus, and enjoy.
