I need motivation to run lately. It has been two weeks since I've gone for a run, and even though it was very enjoyable I keep finding reasons not to do it again. But I still have a somewhat reasonable level of fitness and I am committed to running a 5k in July. I belong to a gym, where there are many treadmills, and I live near Lake Harriet, which has a very scenic, almost-5k path around it. And my running shoes have plenty of life left in them. So, friends, Internet friends, and Internet strangers, what works for you? I need a push to get back into a good running routine.
